No. 2 seed Denis Shapovalov easily took care of top seed Félix Auger-Aliassime 6-1, 6-2 in the boys' final in Mississauga, Ont. Wednesday.

Toronto, August 18, 2015 – The finals at the U18 Rogers Outdoor Junior National Championships have been set at the Ontario Racquet Club in Mississauga, Ont. with all four of the finalists ranked among the Top 100 juniors in the world. Felix Auger-Aliassime will take on Denis Shapovalov for the boys' title while the girls' final will feature Bianca Andreescu opposite Vanessa Wong.

Top seed Auger-Aliassime earned his spot in the final with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Jack Mingjie Lin, while No. 2 Shapovalov was a 6-1, 3-1 ret. winner against David Volfson.

Auger-Aliassime made waves earlier this year when he became the youngest player to ever make an ATP Challenger by qualifying for the Drummondville tournament at the age of 14. He subsequently became the first player born in the 2000s to earn an ATP ranking. Last month, he went even further by making the Granby Challenger quarter-finals. He is ranked No. 746 on the ATP World Tour and No. 70 on the junior circuit.

Shapovalov was still 15 years old when he captured the U18 Rogers Indoor Junior National Championships earlier this year in April. Since then he has made the third round at Junior Wimbledon after advancing through qualifying to the main draw, and served as hitting partner for Canada's Davis Cup team in its tie versus Belgium. He is currently ranked No. 81 on the ITF junior world rankings.
